Blue Print helps repairer achieve BSI Kitemark
Date Listed: 18/05/2007Andys Kars, an independent garage in Bar Hill near Cambridge, has achieved the BSI Kitemark accreditation after learning about the scheme in the Blue Print repairer newsletter Blue i.
Blue Print have been raising awareness of the Kitemark for Independent Repairers since the scheme was launched. After applying for a free copy of the PAS80 document which explains the standards garages must comply with to achieve the Kitemark, the owner of Andys Kars, Andy Kent, got in touch with Blue Print to find out more.
Blue Print organised and attended a gap analysis and an official pre-licence inspection for Andys Kars and, after making a few small changes, Andy and his team were awarded the Kitemark at the end of April 2007.
