Nissan Qashqai named 'Used Car of the Year'!

For the second consecutive year the Nissan Qashqai crossover has been named as ‘Used Car of the Year’ by the used car pricing experts CAP. Not unfamiliar with such praise, the vehicle was also named Best Used Car 2001 by What Car? magazine.
The Nissan Qashqai offers “economy, handling, strong build quality and reliability” according to a panel of judges; all of whom are experts in the used car market and vehicle evaluation sectors.
The CAP award is unique in that it takes into consideration all perspectives including, private car owners, company car drivers, fleet operators and the used car dealers themselves.
This has been a triumphant year for Nissan who have enjoyed the success of rising sales figures compared to those released in 2010; Nissan’s sales figures in Europe increased by 16% in 2011. To add to this amazing feat, Nissan out sold its 2010 total in every month of 2011. According to the SMMT, a staggering 430,000 Qashqais and Jukes were manufactured last year.
